MINING TURKEY: Vermiculite Ore Produced in Sivas Is Exported to the World.
The mysterious vermiculite ore, which is used in many fields from agriculture to industry and has a tenfold growth property when heated, is mined and processed in Sivas for the first time in Turkey and marketed to the world.
Ore, which attracts attention with its 10-fold growth property when heated, is used in many fields from agriculture to industry. The mine, which is operated by Organic Mining, operates in the village of Karakoç and Kapaklı in the Yıldızeli district of Sivas. The ore, which is made available by heat treatment in the enterprise established by Barış Gazanfer Yıldırım, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Organic Mining, is exported to many countries of the world from Canada to Australia.
According to the news on UAV, Yıldırım made statements about vermiculite ore and said, “The biggest feature of this mineral is that it expands and lightens when it is subjected to heat treatment. With this shape, it is light, but there is an area of use that provides the plant with the necessary minerals. Therefore, this material is used both abroad and in our country. Although it is organic, the usage rate in our country is unfortunately much lower compared to other chemical fertilizers. We see that chemical fertilizer is a big problem in the world now. It is shown as a cause of many diseases,” he said.
